My name is Ken Sandhu and I’m a contemporary desi (Hindu, Muslim, Punjabi, South Asian) photographer in the Chicago area.
I am considered one of the best photographers in the Chicago area for Indian and Pakistani weddings when it comes to shooting a wedding from a photojournalism and modern point of view. You won’t see cheesy angles and heavy photo editing from any of my work, it just not how I do things. After all, we want you to look beautiful just the way you are, not a plastic doll. My fusion of American style of shooting along with my understanding of the different South Asian cultures sets me apart and I want to share that with you on your special day.
I’ve been into photography for a long time and have found that brides and grooms want only one thing. They want their special day to be recorded for a lifetime of memories to share with their family and friends without the headache of babysitting a photographer on that particular day.
